Current Programs
The Kinettes Club of Calgary Adopt-a-Family 2023 Holiday program helped low-income families celebrate the holidays by providing them with food hampers and gifts. The program matched donors with families in need and engaged a large team of volunteers to plan, sort, package, and deliver gifts resulting in 322 families reached with nearly $250,000 in donations.
Calgary High School Bursary Program
This year, the Kinsmen Club of Calgary Foundation has worked hard to connect with 29 schools in Calgary to build participation in the high school bursary program, recognizing student leadership in the community while providing financial supports for eligible awarded recipients who have been accepted into post-secondary education programs. Students will be recognized near the end of the school year.

The Kinsmen Club of Calgary
The Kinsmen Club of Calgary is a volunteer organization that has been serving the community since 1924. The club is part of Kin Canada, a national network of service clubs dedicated to improving the quality of life for Canadians. The Kinsmen Club of Calgary supports various causes and initiatives, such as the Kinsmen Care Foundation, the Children’s Wish Foundation, the Calgary Food Bank, and the Calgary Stampede. The club also organizes fun and social events for its members and guests, such as golf tournaments, casino nights, and barbecues. The Kinsmen Club of Calgary is always looking for new members who share their passion for helping others.
Kin Canada
Kin Canada is a national service organization that was founded in 1920 by Hal Rogers, a young Canadian who wanted to make a difference in his community. The organization’s motto is “Serving the Community’s Greatest Need”. Kin Canada has over 400 clubs and 6,000 members across the country, who volunteer their time and resources to support various causes and projects, such as cystic fibrosis research, disaster relief, youth leadership, and environmental protection. Kin Canada is a proud and patriotic organization that celebrates its achievements and honors its heritage. It is the largest all-Canadian service club in the world.
